Come out and support our mission while enjoying a 5k walk with your friends, family, and of course, your furry friends! Assisting your local rescue community has never been so easy or fun. Set your own personal goal and show your commitment to our cause!

At Peace Fur Paws, we are dedicated to assisting animal rescuers with rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing unwanted pets in the Greater Toronto Area. We are also proudly the Toronto Branch of Animal’s Asia, an international charity with the mission of ending the bear bile farming industry, cat and dog meat trade and animals used in entertainment.

Registration and Early Bird

Register online before August 15th at midnight and you will receive a FREE event T-shirt! You will be asked what size of T-shirt you would like during registration. 

The registration fee is $35 and payment must be made via Paypal when you register.

Check-In and The Walk

CHECK-IN TIME will be from 9:45AM until 10:15AM and THE WALK will begin at 10:30AM sharp rain or shine!
Registration at the door will be available on the day of the Event for $45 and payment must be made in cash only. (Registration fee is $35 only if you register before the Event date). 
 
All pledges must be collected in cash or cheque and submitted in person at the time of check in. Please do not mail in the money beforehand. All pledges must be present at the time of registration to be eligible for incentive prizes.

We will have refreshments and snacks for everyone once you have finished the walk/run. Once everyone is back we will award the prizes. 

WHAT TO BRING: 

  • PFP Walk Pledge and Waiver Forms 2015 (both pages of form) and all cash/cheque pledges you received
  • Comfortable shoes and clothing. We will ask for those who are eligible for a T-shirt to wear the event t-shirt and we will be doing photos at the beginning or end of the walkathon.  
  • Sunglasses, hat, and sun protection
  • Rain gear in case it rains. Remember this event is happening rain or shine!
  • Doggy bags to clean up after your dog(s)
  • A leash for your dog(s). All dogs must be leashed at all times during the event
